The
Kyoto Plant is our main plant for production and development. Its production line
covers the entire processes from crushing of raw materials to machining. The plant
is equipped with large equipment at the industry-top class. It offers flexible design
capability to meet the user's specification. The plant is situated at the Osadano
Industrial Complex in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture and easily accessible by
about 1-hour drive from the Hanshin Area.
In 1994, the Kyoto Plant was accredited as conforming to ISO9002, an international
quality assurance standard. In 2002, this accreditation was updated as conforming
to the year 2000 version of ISO9001. Surrounded by nature, the plant continued its
operation on large premises of 500,000 m2 considering its symbiosis
with nature. In 1999, we were accredited as conforming to ISO14001, an international
standard for environmental management systems.

The Okayama Plant specializes in the machining of graphite
specialties and special impregnation. It establishes a production system considering
the nature of graphite specialties that are different in machining precision, shape,
and characteristic. The plant has been producing a variety of products that meet a
broad range of requirements from users.
Situated in the eastern part of Okayama City, the Okayama Plant has premises of 130,000
m2 facing the Inland Sea of Japan and considers harmony with natural environment as
important.
