Large continuous graphitizing furnace under operation
for thermal treatment of fine powder
Large continuous graphitizing 
  furnace
The world-first large continuous graphitizing furnace developed with all of our technological power has been completed at the Kyoto Plant. This furnace is used to graphitize a variety of fine powder mainly for cathodes of secondary lithium ion batteries.

[Features]
 •  A thermal treatment temperature can be freely selected in a range between 1000 °C and 3000 °C.
 •  The special temperature control method assures constant, homogeneous treatment.
 •  A treatment atmosphere for the substance to be treatment can be selected.
 •  The thermal treatment capacity is 50 kilograms minimum per batch (excluding sample treatment).
 •  The delivery is short (approx. 1/5 the delivery of an Acheson graphitizing furnace).
