Large continuous graphitizing
furnace under operation
for thermal treatment of fine powder |
 |
| The world-first large continuous graphitizing
furnace developed with all of our technological power has been completed at the
Kyoto Plant. This furnace is used to graphitize a variety of fine powder mainly
for cathodes of secondary lithium ion batteries. |
[Features] |
| |
A thermal treatment temperature can be freely
selected in a range between 1000 °C and 3000 °C. |
| |
The special temperature control method assures constant, homogeneous
treatment. |
| |
A treatment atmosphere for the substance to be treatment can
be selected. |
| |
The thermal treatment capacity is 50 kilograms minimum per
batch (excluding sample treatment). |
| |
The delivery is short (approx. 1/5 the delivery of an Acheson
graphitizing furnace). |
