The Kyoto Plant was accredited as conforming to ISO14001
in December 1999. Since the start of efforts for gaining the accreditation, the consciousness
of all employees at our company has greatly changed toward the reduction of wastes,
recycling of materials, and improvement of the working environment.
The Kyoto Plant used to consume electric power comparable to that used in the entire
Fukuchiyama City. However, they started cutting down the consumption of electric power
and participating in the environmental protection activity by Fukuchiyama City. The
Kyoto Plant will continue this activity together with the community. |
