SEC CARBON was founded in 1934. Since then, the company has been leading the carbon technology with its technological power developed through the production of artificial graphite electrodes.

Artificial graphite electrodes are mainly used for electric arc furnaces that melt scrapped steel. SEC CARBON has actively been developing large-diameter electrodes of stable quality, which have been increasingly demanded with the increase in furnace size and the diffusion of DC furnaces.

SK-Block is used for cathodes at aluminum smelting furnaces. SEC CARBON is the first company in the industry, which successfully graphitized the entire block and thereby achieved the improved productivity and life of furnaces, stabilized operation, and energy saving. SEC CARBON will continue to develop more sophisticated products.
